• Labonte first raced in Winston Cup in 1991, but his best years came from 1995-2005 when he drove the #18 Interstate Batteries car for Joe Gibbs racing.

2006 so far ... In 2006, Labonte left Gibbs to move to the struggling Petty Enterprises team with the hope of reviving the once storied franchise owned by the legendary Richard Petty.
