2007 In 2007 Blaney battled for a owners points position inside the top 35 all year long. Despite missing the Fall race at Dover, putting him an almost insurmoutable amount out of 35th, he rallied with several impressive finishes to 34th in the owners standings. The most impressive of those runs came at Talladega, where he finished third, the best finish for Toyota at the time.
2008 In 2008 Blaney pulled yet another rebound. After issing the first Talladega race, he made every other race and ended the season with 2 top 10s and got the No.22 up to 31st in the Owners points.
