Career highlights: Biffle gained attention in the racing world when former NASCAR champion Benny Parsons saw him race in the NASCAR Winter Heat series in 1995/1996, and told NASCAR team owner Jack Roush about him. Roush listened to Parsons advice and signed Biffle to a development deal.
- In 1998, Biffle won the Rookie of the Year in the Craftsman Truck Series, and in 2000 he won the series title.
- In 2001, Biffle moved to the Busch Series, winning five races, finishing fourth in points and capturing Rookie of the Year honors. In 2002, Biffle won the Busch Series,Series, winning four races in the process.
- In 2003, Biffle moved up to the Nextel Cup, and finished 20th in the points standings, winning the July race at Daytona. He finished second to Jamie McMurray for Rookie of the Year.Year.
- In 2004, Biffle won two races and finished 17th in the points.
- 2005 was Biffle’s breakout season, winning six races and remaining in contention for the Nextel Cup title until the very last race. He finished in a tie for second place with his teammate, Carl Edwards,Edwards, but was awarded second because he had more victories.
2006 so far ... Biffle has struggled so far in 2006, though his girlfriend, Nicole Lunders, made national news when she got into an altercation with Kurt Busch’s fiancée, Eva Bryan, after Busch wrecked Biffle early in an April race at Texas Motorspeedway. Bifle has one win this year at Darlington in the Dodge Dealers 500.
