Kelly Sutton drives trucks, NASCAR Craftsman trucks. Kelly Sutton also suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. She was diagnosed with MS when she was 16 but this has not stopped her from living her dream to be a NASCAR driver.
2007 she is planning on driving the #51 truck for Billy Ballew Motorsports. In June 2007, Sutton finished 20th at the Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200.

Women drivers won't appear overnight - they come from years of hard work, just like the guys do. I have confidence in all of their hard work and that they'll improve their odds as a whole of making it to the elite level!

In 2005 there were no women competing in the NEXTEL Cup or Busch Series. However two women were regular competitors in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Deborah Renshaw drives the #8 Dodge and Kelly Sutton the #2 Chevy.
Somewhere some woman is setting records and I hope she is discovered soon and set on the path to NASCAR NEXTEL Cup racing.
