Richmond International Raceway
The 3/4-mile oval at Richmond International Raceway is home to some of the best side-by-side racing in NASCAR. The track has hosted Cup series races since 1953, and gained importance in 2004 when it became the site for the final race of the year before the cut-off for the Chase for the Championship.

Where to stay:
The Courtyard Marriott is only about 4 miles from the track and you can use mostly back roads to get there, which helps keep you away from traffic. We always stay there.Courtyard Marriott
