although most of this years racing hasbeen good, las vegas(except last few laps where kenseth/kahne were racing hard) & texas ,so far< has been boring & uneventfull. even daytona was borderline a sleeper. i'm not looking for a bunch f wrecks, BUT some real side by side racing would be nice. yes 400 & 500 miles is a long race & drivers shouldn't try killing each other every lap, but it'd be much easier to truly enjoy seeing 3,4,5 etc..cars closer than 5 seconds apart. its scary that the first 198 laps @ california were far more interesting than texas, vegas & phoenix. i'm reconsidering going back to my original plan of only watchin restrictor plate,short tracks,road courses 7 select night races like darlington & the coke 600 . VERY DISAPOINTED OVER PAST FEW YEARS!!!!!!! i'm trying "gen6 " car & nascar a chance but the way the racing @ 11/2 mile & 1 mile tracks but too many years of lackluster races,especially fuel milageraces, are making me realize that theres other things that i could do during those 3 hours.

I am reserved on my decision if it was the new cars or the competetors,in any event we saw a 20 lap race,not a 200 lap race i am a 40 year fan of NASCAR that was the worst race i have ever seen. It is unfortunate that fans where injured on sat. but that was a real race. Im not looking for accidents im looking for changes in the lead,im sorry i love the sport but that 500 sure wasnt worth the price of admission or the time it took to watch it.The only suggestion i have is bigger rewards for leading each and every lap.
