A cheaper way to hear it all at the race?
Please excuse me, as I am VERY new to racing : ) I want to have a great time when I go, and I want to be able to hear commentary from the announcer. I have seen people with those earbud/earplug things, but I don't wanna pay $75 for them. I found a cheap version online, but wondered if they are even worth the time and money... Has anyone here tried JamPlugs? If so, what do you think?
Thanks : ) Your help is appreciated.

Where did all the real racing go?
Now that Nascar has done away with any form of Stock car racing in the upper classes, ie Winston cup and Bush cup, gotten rid of any competition between auto manufacturers, stiffled any form of performance enhancing among engine builders, Would it not be in keeping with this mind set, to change the name of NASCAR as well. It might be more fitting to give it a name that more closely relates to the style of cookie cutter cars running around the track, competing for sponsor money and TV rights. Also, to eliminate any type of fan inter-action with the different drivers and their different type personality's, would it be better to have a fan wide vote for the most liked driver, then a vote from the sponsers for their most liked driver, sit down and combine the two polls and "CLONE" the one driver that fits both groups best(giving the nod to the sponsers of course). Then we got cookie cutter cars running around circles with cookie cutter drivers.....NOW THAT'S RACIN' I love racing, but it sure has gotten lost in the shuffle..Seems like they are doing a good job of makin sheep out of us racing fans.. Just my opinion...don't get your feathers ruffled..
