Wife's T-shirt
I really enjoyed the turns at Sonoma, Infineon Raceway and hope for another bent race track event in the future... and one in the Chase too! My wife blew my mind this weekend while I was watching the race as she pranced around the house in a spoof of the NASCAR logo tee shirt with the word BORING on the front! She picked it up at http://www.nascarwidows.com and it was quite funny. Can you imagine that, calling a road race track boring... oh well...

Does Kurt have an aeroplane?
He raced @ road America today 2100 miles from Sonoma which he will race on Sunday (2moro) and qualified at both tracks. That's too far to drive and I doubt commercial flights go to either place!
Is he a pilot too?

So Who Enjoyed Winter Testing 2012?
It was interesting for me. Nascar ordered the cars to run in packs two different times during the three days of testing. Seems everyone can pretty much do it altho Jeff Burton came out the worse for wear after both.
Didn't hear to much gab about the new EFI but a lot about the shark fin, spoiler size and too darned much about the size of the grill opening and pressure relief settings on the radiator.
I did see a couple of appearent Sling Shot moves by single cars, but were the two cars slowing down or was the one sling shoting that much quicker? Speed Weeks will tell the tale.
I enjoyed it, even tho I watched it on my laptop.

2012 predictions.
Hendrick will have a changing of the gaurd type of thing happening. Johnson will be below par again, but make the chase, Gordon will also make the chase, and win a race, Dale Jr will break his winless drought more than likely, and that will get him into the chase. However, it will be Kasey Kahne and Kenny Francis that lead this team in 2012. They'll win a few races, make the chase, and only get stronger through the year just as they did in 2011 at Red Bull. They are your Champions, meaning the last 7 titles have been won by Hendrick equipment.

Hello friends. I have been getting into this site for quite some time. I have alway's had many a long time reading the material, very good , I enjoy my time here. I have noticed ... that there is no NASCAR models. Me ... I love models. I started my first model at age 5 ( now 47 ) and with great joy I must say , I still do. As a result ...
