I have a question for anyone that collects Nascar diecasts. I have over 600 1/24 scale Nascar diecasts and more than half of them have special paint schemes like my D. Earnhardt 1995 Silver Select. I am trying to find out who I can send my list to to find out; 1. The reason for the special paint scheme? 2. How many races the paint scheme raced? 3. A finishing order or position the car finished in the race? And which race tracks? For example my 1995 Silver Select has GM parts on the hood, but there is another diecast version with GM only. Does anyone know which version raced in the 1995 All Star Race? Another example is my 1995 B. Elliott Thunderbat car. I would like to find out where it raced, the reason it raced (was it to promote the Batman movie?) how many races it raced and the finishing order the car finished? If anyone out there can stear me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciated. Just to give you an idea of who I have asked. I have asked Jaskis, asked a Nascar historian on line, asked Beckett Racing and sent an email to CheckerBee publications that have produced some diecast books, all without any real sucess. Thank you and I hope to hear from someone that may have this information.

I did not like the race this week at Talladega. You call that racing, it was boring! Nascar has taken away all the good parts of racing, you might as well call it ballet dancing now. Soon there won't be any fans.

I had the same feelings about the race as butts123 but I also wanted to mention how dangerous the COT is at the restrictor plate tracks with the wing on the back. How much testing did nascar do involving rear lift if the car was turned around? None? because thats what it looks like to me. They just assumed the the roof flaps would work in the same way but after the carl edwards flip in the spring and ryan newmans flip today it is obvious the roof flaps don't work anymore with the wing creating lift when turned into the wind.
Hey nascar you really dropped the ball here it's not the size of the plate thats the problem it's the COT wing design. please fix this before another fan ore driver gets hurt or even killed.

"I am just letting you know your wrong. My husband works at hms in the enginge shop and is a friend of chads. so now you know im not jilted. Chad is a very nice guy! I was out the other night with my husband in huntersville at the fox and the hound having drinks and Chad happened to show up with a very nice girl and i asked my husband if that was lisa and he said no. I didnt think so because she was curvier and had had highlighted hair. It is not unusual to see lots of nascar drivers and team members out, my husband then mentioned that lisa is just a family friend of chads. she comes to some races and chad appreciates it and invites her when he can to vl for photos for her family. My husband said Lisa lives in chicago. they are not living together. chad came and said hi to us while his date went to the bathroom. they were very sweet together at the bar holding hands and being affectionate together. they looked very happy together. so chad and lisa are not exclusive. she probably wants more. My husband and i were laughing about this board and is going to mention it to chad in the workout room." u make me laugh LMAO how long did it take u 2 make that up seriously go buy urself a clue go tell Chad he wont care

Hi. Are you driving from 'up north' down to florida to the HOmestead race late November ?
If so, I need your help.
I have a 20' racing sailboat that weighs 1,000 lbs. It's in Michigan (grand rapids) and needs to get to Miami, FL (coconut grove yacht club) I will pay your fuel + to get the boat dropped off. I'm proposing $500 bucks
It's on a brand new trailer, tows well at any speed, trailers at chest height and most any car / truck can pull it.
Boat needs to be in Miami sometime between nov. 15 and dec. 5
Have about 15 others, like myself, who would do same if you know more guys with hitches that are willing to pull our boats to Florida.
Prefer someone who knows how to pull a trailer.

Okay, as of now, I am a former Dale Jr. fan. I have decided that I will no longer be a Dale Jr. fan. I just discovered his true colors. And the evidence that I have of that, in a sense, is disgusting. And the reason why I am an x-fan of Dale's has to do with his former girlfriend (Elizabeth), her mother, and Dale's ex, Emily Maynard.
And this time on, I am just glad that Liz got dumped. I just can't believe the type of man that Dale Jr. is (no offense, Jr. fans). I am just so angry and so disgusted by Jr.'s actions. And Liz, she's a mommy's girl. Whoever said that she was just so immature was right.

I can't stand Kyle Bush or his brother. I just finished screaming my brains out for Jr with two laps to go, and once again the little Kyle Bush has caused Jr to wreck. It never ends. It is either him or his brother. Anyone that has surgery to pin their ears back to help his looks well that says it all. I hope someone will smash him into the wall the next race! Go Dale Jr!!! We Love You In Texas.

I saw Athena Barber the other day and it looks like she has put on a little bit of weight...i.e. pregnancy weight. She was at Target registering for baby items. I didn't realize she was back in Missouri and she was having a baby. I thought she had broken up with her long time boyfriend Clint.

You make this sound like Robby is also making the annoucement, but he is not! And this is Robby's second child, not his first. They were only dating a few months and now, she's pregnant. You need to change to Athena is expecing a child, until Robby admits or DNA test is done to confirm. Let's be fair here.

I ma looking for a copy of the 1988 Taladega race where the first 10 to15 laps were run three and four wide, at 200 MPH, nose to tail and the commentators were literally speechless and said they would be quiet and just let the race run.
